How To Install A New Font in Mac OSX

Someone asked me yesterday how to install a font onto her iBook. So here's the answer.

Similar to the previous tutorial, the install is fairly quick and simple. In this tutorial I'm going to install the Defacto font.

Now, Mac OSX comes with a nice little program called Font Book, which displays all the fonts that you have installed on your computer, and also shows what they look like. Just Applications > Font Book.

Next just click File > Add Fonts and browse for your file.

Now it's ready to be used in your programs such as Microsoft Word or Adobe Photoshop. Here is the font in MS Word.
