uTorrent is one of the best torrenting programs out there. It has a very easy to use interface and has very customizable settings to increase your transfer speeds. There is also a great feature on it that allows you to access the program with full control through an internet browser.
In order to access uTorrent from a browser you have to do a couple of steps. But I'm also going to assume a few things. That you already know how to use uTorrent and that you've already forwarded the correct port in your firewall to increase your connection speed. If you haven't done those things then see the related articles.
Note: The client works on IE7, Fire Fox, Omni Web and Safari. It will not work on IE6 though.
Activate Web UI in uTorrent
Click Options > Preferences.
Expand the Advanced section on the left, and select Web UI
Check off Enable Web Interface
Enter a username and password for you to access the UI through a browser.
the uTorrent port - which you can view in Options > Preferences, Connections and the Port Used for Incoming Connections. You should have opened up this port in your router also for your computer.
Next just type in http://yourip:yourport/gui (for example http://172.192.129.23:39284/gui) and you should be able to use your uTorrent Web UI. A great feature about this is that you can view your downloads, start, stop and resume your downloads, and also start new downloads from torrent files on your remote computer.
