We've all seen the commercials for Windows Vista, and how some of the animations look so cool. You've purchased it, and installed it, but it's nothing like what you've seen. You have to enable the Aero theme so that you can make Vista cooler.

You finally installed Microsoft Windows Vista! Great, but now your hard drive light is solid and your computer is unusuable. What Vista is doing is building an index of your files so when you do a file search it will be instantly found. I'll show you how to disable SearchIndexer.exe.

There's a known bug out there that Microsoft's own LifeCam VX-3000 will not properly work on Microsoft's Windows Vista 64 when you have over 4GB of RAM. I thought that since they were both Microsoft products, I could easily get it to work. What I got was lots of freezing, restarting, and frustration. I did end up figuring out how to fix it though.
