We've all seen the commercials for Windows Vista, and how some of the animations look so cool. You've purchased it, and installed it, but it's nothing like what you've seen. You have to enable the Aero theme so that you can make Vista cooler.
First of all, your computer must have enough power to use this feature. How much? I'm not too sure, look up at the requirements on Microsoft's website. I'm just going to tell you how to enable it.
One cool feature was their program switching animation. Normally it would show the regular alt+tab version When you clicked the middle button below.
- Right click your desktop and click Personalize.
- Click Window Color and Appearance
- Select Windows Aero and Cilck OK
Now you'll have transparent Windows which you can change the color of, and you'll have that cool programing switching that you've seen in the commercials.
The keyboard shortcut to using the new program switching animation is start + tab.
